California, Washington, and Idaho issued permits are accepted in Oregon.
Crater Lake:
From motel turn left on hwy 138 and go west for 18 miles. Then turn left at the North Crater Lake entrance.
Summer Season
Winter Season
After the snow starts to acumulate the north entrance is closed so instead you have to use the south entrance. Both routes are about the same distance.
Route 1: From motel turn left on hwy 138 and go west 20 miles. Turn left on hwy 230 go south toward Medford. After a few miles you will come to hwy 62 and then take another left. This will take you to the south entrance to Crater Lake and will also take you back to 97 and south to Klamath Falls.
Route 2: From motel turn right on hwy 97 go south toward Klamath Falls. Aproximatly 30 miles south you will find the Chiloquin/Crater Lake cut off exit 247. Take the exit then turn right at bottom of exit. This road will take you to hwy 62. When you get to hwy 62 turn right and this will take you to the south entrance to Crater Lake.
Diamond Lake:
From the motel turn left on hwy 138 and go west about 22 miles to hwy 230. Turn left on hwy 230 then take the first right turn immidiatly after you have turned off of hwy 138. During snowy season to get to the lake you stay on hwy 138. Follow 138 passed hwy 230 a few more miles untill you get to the Diamond Lake Resort exit then turn left there and follow down to lake.
Miller Lake:
Miller Lake is only reachable by snowmobile and dogsled after it starts snowing.
From motel turn left on hwy 97 and go north ten miles to Chemult. Continue north aproximatly one mile and just past the ranger station is the Miller Lake and snow park exit on the left side. Turn left and follow the gravel road 12 miles to the lake.

Collier Memorial State Park and Logging Museum
From motel turn right on hwy 97 and go south toward klamath falls. Then go approximatly 28 miles.
High Desert Museum
From motel turn left on hwy 97 and go north 64 miles. Then make a U-turn at NFD 9702 RD.
